Starting Anew

Posted by personnotstudying - June 30th, 2014

Why hello there Newgrounds, tis been a while.

With the start of another summer, and as I drift between thoughts of responsibilites and growing up, I'm trying once again to get back into personal work. It's actually funny seeing my old posts since most were from prior art school and were me just messing around. It's going to be interesting seeing the differences now. This isn't really a post for anyone but to myself. Kind of to remind myself why I started drawing and motivate myself to keep that going, at least for the remainder of this summer (lol). To those still reading this, I apologize. I ramble and I haven't slept much...Anyway, cheers to hopeful future posts!

Best,

J

Your scanner still work? Might as well post some new pictures, I'm sure a few have been done in your absence. Otherwise, staying busy's okay.

Yup, scanner does still work :) but unfortunately, I'm no where near it. I'm currently based in New York at the moment and not in California. But that hasn't stopped me before. I'll try and post some of the better drawings or animations soon~

Oh new job in a new place, congrats! 5th Avenue ad company? Sorry if I seemed a bit brutal on your latest movie submission, looked like it was fun to make!

No worries. I appreciate your honesty. It gives me more room to grow as an artist :) and haha how I wish it was related to a job. I'm still a student so it's just a small internship at an animation/design studio. It's unpaid and will only last for this summer which is unfortunate but I can't really complain. I have a lot of creative freedom in what I animate.

Sounds expensive, interning away from home, hope they hire you down the line. Shame you weren't around Pico Day (late April), I could've gotten Tom to invite you to the office party in northern Philly to meet the others in your field!
